Buffalo in the 70s: ‘The Mod Squad’ a TV favorite

TV’s Southern California hippie undercover cops were on the cover of TV Topics – and therefore likely on many (most?) Western New York coffee tables – this week 45 years ago, in August, 1970.

The show, starring Michael Cole, Clarence Williams III and Peggy Lipton, ran from 1968-73, but had its highest ratings in the 1970-71 season.
